I'm an Auntie!!

Sister Sophie (Preston's Sister) had her baby!!!

Gordon Joseph Pullen
8lbs 4oz    22 3/8in

Such a big boy & sooooo sweet!

Sister went in Friday night for a scheduled induction- at 41wks!-at 8:30pm (waited an hour and a half for a bed) and finally got settled in her room at 10pm.  I got took her & Michael Whataburger-sort of a last meal before the meds...little did we know it would be more than 26 hours before her next meal!!
Silly Baby Bun Boy was being a little naughty & uncooperative when it came to getting meds that night so, he had to be watched a little longer than planned. I left around 1:30am & made it home at 2am to feed my puppies. As I climbed into bed at 2:30am (so pooped from a long Friday at school!) I got a text from Michael saying the baby was looking better & they were going to skip the planned pill & just start the pitocin on a slow drip.

Preston woke me up Saturday morning when he got home from work & I got ready & we went to get some breakfast tacos & head to the hospital with some coffee for Michael & to wait for our nephew to make his appearance.......

.................................... still waiting.......................................still waiting...................... ................still waiting.............................................................................................

...2:30am Sunday morning "HE'S HERE!!!!" yes, folks we stayed the whole time & I wouldn't have traded it for anything! Sophie is a Rock Star!! After 2 attempts at breaking her water, the third one took at 2:30pm Saturday afternoon and everything progressed nicely from there- slowly, but nicely!! Then my amazing sister pushed (for TWO HOURS) to meet her sweet baby boy!!  She & Michael were able to FINALLY meet their precious baby after MUCH waiting & anticipation!!

So here he is - enjoy the pics!
